Jesus gave us a new commandment: love others as you love yourself. However, this commandment is not that easy. Sometimes we struggle with comparison; perhaps we feel no joy when others succeed. These are filters that help us examine our hearts so that we can decide to fulfill that commandment. Jesus wants us to be like the Samaritan who acted out of compassion. Jesus longs for us to become those good Samaritans who show kindness to others.
